We are a group of Naturalists trying to create programs for the purpose of getting people reconnected to nature. We organize expeditions for small groups, camping in nature and other offerings that engage part participants in some of the most ancient human activities including wildlife tracking/trailing, tribal way of living,practicing wilderness survival skills, and traditional hunting ways.
The hills rise steeply, gazing into the sky. Thick
forests and meadows creep on to them. In between
are little streams carrying crystal clear
water. The fog appears intermittently. All these
make Aranamala, a land of magic sights in the mystical Wayanad.
Imagine water crashing onto the ground from over 1,000 ft. in three separate levels while an entire rainforest plays its role as the patient, supporting audience. This and much more await you at Meenmutty Falls, one among Wayanad’s delightful treasures. It can be only accessed after an arduous 2 km jungle trek, the visuals on display at the summit are worth the effort.
The trek up to the viewpoint is just as beautiful as the destination itself. You are surrounded by plants and flowers of all varieties and hues along, with the refreshing aroma of coffee giving you company the entire way. Small birds chirp merrily and urge you to the summit. Soon the setting changes and the mighty Western Ghats appear at their finest. The clouds seem closer and the valley appears to extend indefinitely from this point. From the mist covered slopes to the massive boulders in interesting formations around you, you get to choose whichever slice of nature you wish to explore.
Sunrise Valley is a great place to watch the rising and setting sun set amidst dramatic mountain scenery . It is most striking viewpoints in Wayanad. From here one can see the Meenmuty waterfalls, then another waterfalls in Attamala. The Chaliyar in which both these falls unite can also be seen. Sunrise Valley is one of the must see tourist destination in Wayanad.
Chooralmala is a small village and hill station in
wayanad district of Kerala. Lots of tourist spots
are available in Chooralmala, but most of the
tourists have seen only soochippara waterfalls.
Some hidden gems in Chooralmala are Vellolippara, Seetha
Lake, Vattappara, HollyWood valley and Apsara waterfall. All
these places are in 6 kilometer surrounding and the soochippara
is near another hot tourism spot in this village.
